Prevention

The work safety and prevention system at Cementos Balboa is what guides all of the Grupo Alfonso Gallardo companies, since avoiding and controlling potential work risks and making our factories a safe place for our employees is a basic aim in all of our plants.

The work safety and prevention system is audited periodically, and all aspects of the company are analysed, from the management system to management’s and worker’s mentality, and all measures taken as of now are analysed.

When any fault is found, a norm is established that all workers are aware of, which clearly states that the production line should be stopped under any situation that may provoke a harm to the workers.

There are also safety forms in which any safety faults are to be described. These forms are handed in every week to the Head of Safety, whom is in charge of reviewing them to resolve any deficiencies in them.
