Project viability

Refineria Balboa will have the capacity to process heavy crudes which are not only much cheaper than light ones but are more abundant and more readily available on the market (few refineries have the necessary technology to treat this kind of crude) which means that their long term supply is more easily guaranteed. All this results in an increase in production margin which, in turn, guarantees the economic viability of the project.
